lowkey, being trans has made me see a lot of similarities between women and men and how we all basically have the same bodies, sexual dimorphism is barely a thing for a lot of people and most people rely on cues to gender individuals.

like most social animals, our social tendencies have come to define our current existence more acutely than whatever evolutionary strategy got us to the point where we were able to develop those aforementioned tendencies

robust instincts from birth, breeding seasons, sexual dimorphism, these things have all regressed in favor of our species being a bunch of pretty similar hat racks with brains perched on top

Given that during early stages of fetal development both sexes are present in everyone, too different dimorphism would not be advantageous for evolutionary survival.

Thats why for example the body “reuses” the material of a man’s tongue for his “head”.

The consequences of habitually gooning to furry porn.

I’m a furry and have been for 20 years. Furries generally don’t know what proper proportions or body shape looks like.

In season 1 they did a narrative about class war and oppression and how it affects the relationships of several characters.

Season 2 did a literal marvel story and then made “both sides” come together and fight le greater evul. Then the oppressed group got 1 seat at the table whoops.

I really, really hate the show's soundtrack. They didn't play Vi's theme at any point in the series. It's going to feel dated in less than a decade like Will Smith movie tie-ins from the '90s.

I have no idea what the context is here but it took me one glance to see that it looks like they're in a prison, so fucking duh? I thought freeze-gamers liked environmental storytelling, but this one couldn't suspend disbelief enough to consider an environment where another person might work out as a pastime

One of them is like queen of cops and the other is basically a professional boxer who is also a cop kinda. They spend the whole series beating up poor people so it makes sense that they're ripped and fit. One of them does sort of regret beating up poor people by this point though. Sort of

It’s okay though because the greatest champion of the poor in this show is a psychopathic drug lord. So the cops had to do that stuff.

Mostly because it’s very jarring in context, just the scene before VI’s sister was just rotting in this cell and then threatened to “break the cycle” and escaped. There’s also about to be a major attack by the big bad on the city, like imminent and world ending.

People got upset that it felt forced and contrived and out of nowhere given the urgency of the situation and the last thing Vi saw
