It would be utterly unbelievable if 10,000 Russian soldiers have been killed already, and anything higher is just doing the "100 billion dead under communism" joking hyperbole. 5,000 is the absolute upper limit of believability to me, but it's probably somewhere in the realm of 1000-2000 dead, maybe approaching 3000 if the urban warfare has been really hard but that doesn't sound right to me. Maybe 5000-6000 casualties in all, assuming the wounded-to-dead ratio has held at about 3:1?

Probably less than Pentagon estimates, which I believe were saying around 5-10k casualties (includes serious injuries and prisoners) a couple days back.
Russia said a couple days ago they have killed 15k+ Ukrainian soldiers by their estimates.
For being heavily entrenched defenders with a numerical advantage that’s pretty bad for Ukraine
