People getting vanned. YouTuber in Latvia “Weapons of History” just got arrested for having a pro-Russian bias. Someone was arrested in the US the other day for displaying a DPR flag in their window (update: DPR flag guy was assaulted, attacker was arrested. Sorry for confusion). ASB Military News just cut all coverage of Ukraine-Russia because some members of their team are in nations where that can get you jail time.

The West is getting so fucking fascist. Stay frosty and stay anonymous

And I just got settled in :estonia-cool: with a decent-ish job and all. Feel that being against NATO (and recognizing their responsibility in creating the conditions that caused this war) could well be considered "pro-Russia" and outlawed here too.

TBH getting admin-banned seems to be a matter of a lot of assholes hitting the report button and then something sticking against the wall of admin fuckwads. Check this out: https://www.reddit.com/user/voice-of-hermes/comments/ticpie/hey_admins_stop_getting_played/

Now, it's quite possible that certain topics you are reported for may make you more likely to run into a fuckwad admin. And being critical of U.S./NATO is most likely a big one right now. But just wanted to point out that it's a general problem as well.

    Intel Slava reports on Telegram:

🇷🇺🇱🇻 The author of one of the main Russian-language YouTube channels on military topics was arrested in Riga. European authorities want to accuse him of treason because of the pro-Russian orientation of his videos

The History of Weapons YouTube channel has become one of the main patriotic amateur sites on YouTube in recent weeks. Its author, Kirill Fedorov, published in it analyzes of hostilities and did not hide his pro-Russian positions. The videos went into trends and gained millions of views, which the EU authorities did not like very much.

Permanently residing in Latvia, Kirill decided to emigrate to Russia, seeing how the foreign policy situation was deteriorating. Moreover, from the very beginning of the military operation, the blogger began to receive regular threats - he was obsessively offered to change the direction of his videos to anti-Russian, promising otherwise serious problems with the authorities. But on March 17, just before his departure, right in his parents' apartment, he was detained by state security agencies without explanation. After the 48 hours required by European law, he was not released, and his relatives and lawyer were threatened with problems if they spoke to the Russian press. As Readovka managed to find out, Fedorov was detained upon appeal to Latvia by the European authorities - he is accused of cooperation with Russia and will be charged with treason. In particular, he is charged with cooperation with Russian intelligence.

The situation is complicated by the fact that Fedorov is a citizen of Latvia, and that pressure is being exerted on his relatives, who are currently in Riga - people are extremely intimidated and afraid to talk to anyone. It is obvious that the European authorities will use this case to put pressure on everyone who provides at least some media support to Russia. In modern Europe, there can no longer be two opinions on the issue of our country.

In further news, the ASB Telegram channel has removed its Ukraine content and announced it will no longer bring need from the Ukraine out of fear of government repression.

I love all the freedom, democracy and civil liberties we have in the west! We need NATO to defend ourselves against commie nazi tankie Putler who wants to come and take away our freeze peach.

the same thing that's wrong with any chan-type board: unfiltered porn, gore, racial slurs, generally a hostile environment that cultivates fascist users. Even leftypol, which is ostensibly lefty, ends up crawling with nazbols and class reductionists.

but, in times of heavy censorship, chans can be useful for quickly posting videos/images that might get removed from mainstream websites. JuanSinmiedo @yourblacksoul on twitter posted a lot of videos of Ukrainian nazis whipping civilians and tying them to trees yesterday. Twitter removed these because it was contrary to US foreign policy narrative.

It was mainly western leftist downplaying this

Go back and watch Grayzone interviews from January with people in the DPR, they were calling it and saying a war was coming.

'Possible compromise agreements with Russia, including on security guarantees, should be put for nationwide referendum, Ukrainian President Zelensky said on Monday.

"I explained to every negotiating team: when you are speaking about all these changes, they may be historic. We will come to a referendum," he said in an interview with TV companies, which was posted on the website of Ukraine’s Public television. "People will have to say and give an answer about these or those compromise formats. And what these compromises will be about is a matter of our talks and understanding between Ukraine and Russia. Anyway, I am ready to do everything which is needed if I am together with our people."

According to Zelensky, a "normal compromise" is a situation when Ukraine agrees to drop its NATO-wards plans but receives security guarantees from NATO member countries.'

How on earth are you going to perform a nationwide referendum when your country is actively in the process of being invaded and a significant portion is under foreign occupation?! And millions of Ukrainians have escaped the country already, are you getting their votes too? You, yourself, could end this whenever you wanted. You don't need to start printing fucking ballots.

      1. drum up more excuse to keep feeding people to the fodder mill, or
      2. is he trying to offload the blame for ending the war ("out of my hands") in the hopes that it'll save him from getting couped and/or assassinated by the U.S.-backed neo-Nazis?

GenZedong: Declassified CIA documents regarding the Nazification of Ukraine - Project AERODYNAMIC

The declassification in 2016 of more than 3,800 documents from the Central Intelligence Agency provides detailed evidence that since 1948 the CIA has been conducting operations to Nazify Ukraine through the followers of the Ukrainian fascist Stepan Bandera.

Description of ActivitY: Project AERODYNAMIC is the principal vehicle through which SS Division conducts its operations against the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. The main purpose of the project is to exploit contacts with Soviet Ukrainian citizens in order to encourage national and intellectual unrest in the Ukrainian SSR, thus encouraging cultural and intellectual freedom for Soviet citivens. CIA has been in contact with the ZP/UHVR (Foreign Representation of the Ukrainian Supreme Liberation Council) since 1950. Anti-Soviet propaganda activities were begun from Now York by a panel of the ZP/USTR in 1953. As of 1966, all activities and all publications, with the exception of the Information Bulletin, originated in Europe.

    https://cryptome.org/2016/01/cia-ua-aerodynamic.pdf

and in the comments, a 1982 Washington Post article about Belarusian Nazi collaborators and their connection to US intelligence

Washington Post: Exhuming The CIA's Nazis

There was a CBS 60 Minutes episode talking about it that aired that year but it's been scrubbed online I can't find it anymore.
