Yep, Most cartoon network animated shows are financed depending on how well their toyline sells if any problems happen they get cancelled

It should anonymize you regardless of whether you use a VPN but it's still recommended as an additional layer of op sec.

I don't know what your internet speed is like but if you have a paid VPN the loss in bandwidth is pretty negligible. I have the poverty tier internet plan and there's no discernible difference having mine on. Only times I've had issues with VPN's throttling my bandwidth was when I used one of the free ones.
