        Didn't even know there were demsocs outside of the West proper, or even the US/UK and maybe a few other godawful countries. I would have thought they'd just call themselves socialists or communists (or perhaps Marxists, Maoists, anarchists, etc), no need to do the "no worries, this isn't the bad kind of socialism, this is the good kind" shtick to get utterly brainwashed westerners to not actively hunt you down

          It's become basically a nebulous Labour Party term here, but it's seen an uptick in recent years both by somewhat cowardly socialists terrified of being considered too radical and more recently be some of the right wing ghouls that currently run the labour party at the moment.

          In the latter case it's always a a gas lighting tactic to make anyone who disagrees with the party being to right of the Tories on economics and TERF shit seem like crazy commies, but they don't usually say it outwardly to the media because they're trying to sell themselves on what they actually are to the majority of the country - HR Department Tories.

          Anyway, meaningful or not it's shite ideology anyway so... :shrug-outta-hecks:

      They’d be right if I thought they were a large faction that would actually be benefited from these weapon shipments and also if I FUCKING CONTROLLED WHO GOT WEAPONS OR NOT why are you asking me for guns I have no political power I’m just a poster. What left are they begging for help from? We don’t have our own guns let alone spares to pass that way

      Famously effective form of propaganda that has never backfired and has not been criticized thoroughly by leftist theorists literally 100+ ago.

      He's not even participating in the war in a leftist capacity, this is literally just abandoning leftist principles for nationalism, at least fucking make public declarations against the right wing elements instead of downplaying them, fucking denounce the public lynchings, do a single leftist thing that isnt just exploiting your eastern european leftist clout to browbeat people into support for the continuation of the war.

      This is just Ukranian patsucc, but rose and globe twitter is going to fucking eat this shit up and say that because one guy who calls himself a leftist says you need to give him a rocket launcher, thinking anything else is westsplaining.
