Trump has so much material to riff on and bullshit about at this point, if Biden makes it to the debates it’s going to be just utterly brutal to watch… “I could have got a deal with Putin, but instead Joe showed weakness and thousands died”, “Biden killed more people with Covid despite having my vaccines - which by the way, Kamala didn’t want to take”, “prices of gas you wouldn’t believe!”, “I did more for the poor during Covid than Joe did”, etc etc. It’s not gonna get many people swinging to him, but it’s gonna make the “election of our lifetime” schtick so much less effective.
Of course, that’s just the stuff that’s happened so far - as we know, it’s entirely possible/even likely for a depression to start this year, combined with food shortages. Not to mention another Covid variant, more wildfires, expanded warfare in Eastern Europe, etc. :doomer:
On the bright side, if we get that far, nuclear holocaust is probably off the table in the short term
Not saying it's a good outcome but could be worse
It really will be the most important election of our lifetime. That's why we'll have a choice between Cheetos and Cooler Ranch Doritos.
