    So, here's my take; I'm supposed to believe that the Russian Armed Forces, which ostensibly have an entire Military-Political Doctrine dedicated to battlefield & social information control are also broadcasting their actual official military maneuvers on unencrypted radio channels. Look, color me :parenti:, but things do not add up in this story.

    By which I mean, either these aren't actual Russian transmissions, or the entire concept of "Disinformation" is not real, because clearly the Russians cannot maintain radio-discipline well enough to do that.

    Edit: Actually, I want to walk this back just a bit, because I don't want to be overly conspiracy-brained (although as we all now NYT is Fake News :tromp: ), but it's totally possible that these are Russian Military transmissions, which are intended to be intercepted because the attack itself is a feint. That is, I suppose the third interpretation of this that maintains both premises, without any of the presented information having to expressly be wrong. Another is that this is an entirely regional fuck-up, because the video itself only ever uses examples from a specific city/region west of Kiev.
