I don't see anything wrong with that thread?

I've been gazing into the maw that is actual pro-Russia, pro-Putin reactionary chuds for weeks now and we are nothing like them.

What would you have us do instead? Are we meant to only analyze the conflict as if the universe sprung into existence on February 24th or does context mitigate things? I refuse to only use pro-Ukrainian sources when, as I'm hopefully sure you'd agree, the propaganda and falsehoods coming out of that sphere of media is overwhelming, especially compared to the relatively meager propaganda that Russia has cooked up. Are we restricted to only using "neutral" sources? What is neutral in this conflict? What are those sources?

Hell, I'd say that Hexbear is among the only forums that might actually be meaningfully neutral on this whole thing, aside from maybe the odd left subreddit, because there's a general consensus here that: a) Russia is a capitalist nation with oligarchic control (as is the US etc); b) the US/NATO did more to cause this war than Russia did; c) US/NATO is worse than Russia and NATO expansionism is bad and inexcusable; d) Ukraine has a serious Nazi problem that had to be dealt with in some way at some point, even if you disagree that this was the way to do it; and e) this war is causing immense suffering for the Ukrainian people who had no control over their situation or their country to a large extent and obviously don't deserve to have their families torn apart and their cities shelled. That seems plenty nuanced and neutral to me.
