    I’ve always thought that some kind of archive, which filtered out all the noise and repeats, would be something valuable for us as a resource.

    People have used Git archives pretty effectively for stuff like this, I guess. Online hosting like Github and Bitbucket will render markdown in their web interfaces, and the great thing about Git as a platform (distributed, non-hierarchical version control) is that people can mirror it with ease by cloning or forking, and could even send you requests to merge in new content back at the original repository.
