The Rainbow Coalition was a multicultural movement of cross-racial class solidarity, founded on this day in 1969, in Chicago, Illinois with the coming together of the Black Panther Party, the Young Lords, and the Young Patriots.
These organizations were under the leadership of Fred Hampton, Jose Cha Cha Jiménez, and William "Preacherman" Fesperman, respectively. It was the first of several 20th century Black-led organizations to use the "rainbow coalition" concept.
The Rainbow Coalition expanded quickly, including various radical political groups like the Lincoln Park Poor People's Coalition, Students for a Democratic Society ("SDS"), the American Indian Movement (AIM), and the Red Guard Party.
The Coalition brokered treaties to end crime and gang violence and organized to establish class solidarity across racial lines. On December 3rd, Fred Hampton was assassinated by the Chicago Police Department and the FBI, and the Rainbow Coalition effectively dissolved.

Loser chuds talk about red pills but one of my pill moments was learning that age doesn't bring wisdom. I had been taught growing up to treat anything said by a senior as law but you have seniors talking about muh cancel culture.
I know she's a lib but it sucked to see all the hate AOC got for her age. Politics is this fucked up gerontocracy where people under 65 are shunned as being like morons.
You reach an age where you just stop learning new things and start thinking "back in my day" where you need to be stopped.
ofc, old people should still get a say, but they shouldn't be the gatekeepers of sweeping policy that effects millions.
Eh, it's a mixed bag. My parents are loser Republicans but they're still helpful with general life stuff. Maybe "age brings experience" would be a better expression.
Hello comrades,

Here’s a google drive with all of season 3 of Blowback, including the bonus episodes. Enjoy, spread it around, and most of all, uncritical support to the DPRK in it’s heroic quest to rid occupied Korea of the genocidal US Empire :kim-peace:
damn i'm not even done with season 1 yet. i kind of want to jump straight to korea after it though
You gotta up your podcastmaxxing game. Listen to 2, maybe even 3 episodes at the same time. That's the only way to stay ahead.
Livestreamfail is one of the funniest subs I've ever seen. I've lived in an American inner city and white guys there never took offense to cracker. But LSF shows you just how sheltered suburbanites are that they think it's equivalent to the n-word.
Just started my new job on monday. Its amusing how every company has their own unique 'training' software for things like HIPAA, sexual harrassment, etc. Its always an incredibly janky website for viewing videos, quizzing, and displaying info. And each of these trainings is also unique between themselves!
edit: also not a good sign that the first thing my manager and director told me was that i was gonna be working with this guy who is a real piece of shit.
They really have news helicopters following Trump's caravan live... this shit is pathetic:cringe:
You will never epically own the libs the way Trump does by simply existing he causes the brunch crowd pure anguish :negative: :trump-anguish:
Guess who just got a rowing machine for basically free 😎
Remember: The Cuban Revolution is not just Cuban, it's Internationalist. The Cuban Revolution also played it's part in ending the Apartheid Regime in South Africa.
To learn about the Cuban Revolution is to learn about yourself, about us human beings, on how we can put solidarity above everything else.
Per CNN: An angry and defiant judge spoke down to Trump today, "Mr. BLUMPF you're in a lot of trouble big guy!"
"You should have cut it out with the horseplay a long time ago, knucklehead!"
Fascists in the 20s: I lived through the trenches of WWI and I became insane. Now I want to genocide people.
Fascists in the 2020s: I lived through Depression Quest and GamerGate. Now I want to genocide people.
I'm not trying to applaud old fascists either but my god if M&Ms made you go blood and soil, who's the snowflake?
but that whole “First as tragedy then as farce” thing really has turned out true.
In fairness, it's partly because the farcical aspects of fascism in the early 20th century has been lost to history. Probably because they killed millions of people so the stuff from the 20s going "lol these guys are kinda goofy" seemed out of touch.
I put american style ranch on the italian style pizza pie, that's international dining sweetie
Not an on, but a dip in situation CAN be good but the pizza itself has to fucking suck. Like a frozen grocery store cheese pizza. However I work at a decent scale Italian food/pizza place where we make actual for real good ass pizzas and people have asked for ranch on numerous occasions. We don't have it
To clarify though, on a really shitty pizza it does have this wonderful effect where it's pretty fucking good, but it's like how dip makes a chip better.
